We are pleased to offer University of New Hampshire students and their dependents access to voluntary dental and vision insurance through MetLife and Davis Vision by MetLife. Enrollment is open to all students and you do not need to be enrolled in the USHIP plan to participate.
Fall: June 24 – October 31, 2026 (plan effective date September 1)
Spring: February 1 – April 30, 2027 (plan effective date March 1)
*Vision insurance is always a 12-month plan with effective dates of September 1 – August 31. Eligibility aligns with the plan effective date, not the date of enrollment.
You must enroll in coverage during the open enrollment period. If you have a qualifying life event you may be eligible for a special enrollment period. Please refer to our FAQ page for more information.
